Ever wish you had an extra AGM-88 or just one more AIM-9L. Frustrated because that bridge won't go down without a nuke? Well, jet jockeys your problems are solved.
The Hornet 2.0.S patch makes life simpler and just plain more enjoyable. Just a few brief momnets of waiting for the updater and bingo! more weapons than you can shake a nylon stick at.
This file consists of three parts, a Read Me file, which you really should read, a patch for the F/A-18 Hornet 2.0 Data file and the F/A-18 Hornet 2.0 application. You must copy both the F/A-18 Hornet 2.0 Data file and the F/A-18 Hornet 2.0 application so that you will have an original unblemished copy in case this really screws up.
YOU MUST MAKE COPIES OF YOUR ORIGINAL APPLICATION AND DATA FILE. THIS IS NOT ONLY REQUIRED BUT JUST PLAIN SMART.
What do they do? Simple. They let you carry a whole bunch of weapons that you ordinarily couldn't. Drop nukes on your training missions. Load up with 16 AIM-9L's.
I tried to create loadouts that made sense. Air to Ground and Air to Air loadouts can now be a little more flexible. And for added spice, I've given you up to 5 B-57's on every mission. I've also relocated the FLIR to the S5 station, were it makes a lot more sense. Have fon checking out all the weapons using your arrow keys.
I make no guarantee that this will work. It will only work with an unpatched, new copy of Hornet 2.0. Does it work if you don't have Korean Crisis? I have no idea. Does it work on a Power PC? Beats me. But it worked for me on a 68K Mac, I haven't tested it on a PPC yet - perhaps it will work for you.
